Bioregional
Forestry was established in 2002 by Nick Shanks and Mark McCallum
to undertake sustainable woodland management and supply firewood.
The Logs For
London website was created to promote firewood as a domestic fuel.
We supply top quality seasoned hardwood logs, which are local,
sustainable and are a carbon neutral fuel.
We emerged
as an independent company from the ashes of the BioRegional
Development Group’s ‘Urban Forestry’ project,
which ran from 1994 – 2002. We have gone on to manage woodland
in South London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire; and supply
logs to South London, North Surrey and North West Kent.
We provide
forest services of the highest quality from management plans through
to job completion. Over 80 % of woodlands worked by us are covered
by the Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) certification
scheme, which ensures sustainable management. Our list of services
