About Us

Bioregional Forestry was established in 2002 by Nick Shanks and Mark McCallum to undertake sustainable woodland management and to supply firewood.

We emerged as an independent company from the BioRegional Development Group’s ‘Urban Forestry’ project, which ran from 1994 – 2002. We have gone on to manage woodland in South London, Surrey, Kent and Sussex. We supply logs to South London, North East Surrey and North West Kent.

We provide forest services of the highest quality from management plans through to job completion. We mostly work with landowners towards woodland improvement and conservation. All of the woodlands we work are managed sustainably.
